Congratulations to all Michigan Scottish soloists on a highly successful year of solo competition in 2003. Pipers and drummers from the band competed at 15 different Highland Games, in grades 2, 3, 4, 5, and Senior Amateur piping, grade 4 drumming, and novice and intermediate Piobiareachd. Band members won prizes at every Highland Games, and in every grade in which they competed. Congratulations to pipers Linda Keathly-Stamey, Don LePage, Mary Beth Nicholson, and Jon Snow, and Drummer Derek Marshall (Derek competed in both piping and drumming). Highlights of the year included PPBSO Champion Supreme in both grade 4 light music and novice Piobaireachd, won by Jon Snow, and PPBSO Champion Supreme runner up in intermediate Piobaireached, won by Don LePage.

-- Feb, 2007: The band played as a warm-up for Rod Stewart at the Palace of Auburn Hills.

-- Sat, Feb. 22, 12 Noon: PPBSO Windsor-Detroit Branch Solo Competition at the Monaghan Knights of Columbus in Livonia
